i am way too excited about the recent facebook development in which i can send my friends pokemon.
school tomorrow. yayyy.
and it turns out ms gabe is failing me in film class because i've been out for the past three days thus rendered unable to turn in a film journal. i just hope she realizes i have a doctor's note and lets me turn it in.

I am proud. I met new people today. Blew part of the ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE on a pair of bitchin Audio Technica A700 headphones. Here is to hoping that they are super awesomeness.

Background reading on the promoter's ordinance: The proposed law, and the Chicago Music Commission's response to it

Update: Musical advocates gear up to fight the promoter's ordinance at Wednesday's City Council meeting
As irony would have it, at the same meeting Wednesday when the City Council will consider a resolution opposing war on Iran (as if that august body has anything to do with national policy), it is expected to approve a law that will pretty much drop a bomb on Chicago's independent music community, if not nuke it entirely....

Hey, I'm just starting to make some basic designs to submit to Threadless. It would be awesome to get some input from everyone to let me know what they think! Right now, I have a simple drawing of my cat with a mustache that is currently in the running. If you would vote for it that would be very cool too. Has anyone else here had any designs or slogans submitted to Threadless?

Okay- I thought I might pass this on to those that don't know about it...

it is chuck full of reviews by real people who are as addicted to reviewing as I am. Anytime I go to a new city.. or when I am just trying to get some info about someplace around here... I yelp it.... there are great ideas on new and old attractions, entertainment, places to eat, bike shops, tattoo parlors, anything you can think of.....
I am probably the last one on earth to know about it... buuuuutttt.. just in case.. you are now informed, too.
